![]() ![]() When hovering the cursor over a guide, your cursor will generally snap to it, an dragging a road over tends to "stick" the cursor to the guide. To control which guide lines you see, the last two roads you moused over will give you lines to mimic those roads. Guides are simply long, dashed white lines that allow you to mimic similar curves to create consistent designs. In regards to transportation patterns and land use, circles are much less efficient than straight lines and grids, but are more visually appealing.Ī small check box near your construction advisor allows you to toggle whether or not you see guides on the ground when laying new roads. By holding Shift while dragging, you'll create a perfect circle.
